Our Story
Nireekshe — meaning Hope in Kannada — is a special school and daycare run by Kripanidhi Trust (R), Mysuru. Since 1985, we have been looking at the ability, not the disability.
We provide education, therapy, and life skills to children with special needs, creating a warm and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Who We Are
Nireekshe Special School is run under the Kripanidhi Trust (R), Mysuru — a registered non-profit organisation that has been serving the community since 1985.
We are an open school and daycare center for children with learning disabilities. Our school currently supports over 30 students, many of whom come from poor socioeconomic backgrounds and would otherwise have no access to specialised education.
The school is located in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Mysuru, and is staffed by certified special educators, therapists, and caring support staff who are deeply committed to each child's progress.

Our Community
At Nireekshe, we believe the school is more than a classroom — it's a community. Parents, caregivers, teachers, therapists, and volunteers all work together to support each child's unique journey.
Our students wear their green and gold uniform with pride. We celebrate milestones together — from Republic Day flag hoistings to Annual Day performances — building confidence, belonging, and joy.
Many of our students come from families facing financial hardship. Our trust model ensures no child is turned away due to inability to pay, with funding sourced from donations and trustee support.
